I operate a very small beauty salon and have used this in my shop for 2 1/2 years now.  It got used the most during prom season and other than that it just sits and I keep dusting it.  It has very few hours on it total.  There is no hour counter on it so you'll have to trust my word.  My husband and I just adopted a beautiful 22 month old boy and I have scaled back my hours in the salon significantly making it just a nuisance to have tanning available for the few hours I am operating the shop.  I just put all new bulbs and ballists in th be in April of 2008.  The bed is in excellent condition and the only thing noticable is that the opening edge is yellowing from the heat.  It is in a very small room without alot of ventilation.  It's appearance is still good otherwise.  No cracks, breaks, or flaws.  I have some of the original bulbs as well to go with it.  I only replaced the bulbs because I wanted fresh ones for the prom season.  I installed high intensity bulbs.  The bulbs and ballists cost around $500 to replace.  It depends on the brand you purchase.  It operates on 220V.  It has gas hinges to hold the top open to get in and out.  I always put the lid down when not using it to help maintain the hinges in good working condition. I am throwing in 3 bottles of New Tanning Lotion, a few NEW pair of tanning goggles, and a ton of tanning stickers.  I even have a partial bottle of tanning bed cleaner I will add in. This bed disassembles into a top and bottom and the legs come off as well.  You will want to bring along lots of blankets and padding to cushion and protect it for transporting.
