This is a new Richway MiniMat with amethyst and tourmaline. It works just like the Bio Mat Pro, but it is smaller and more portable. It comes with a controller with different intensity settings, a fitted cotton cover, and a carrying case. It measures 33" x 17". I love my MiniMat. I use it for watching TV and movies, and I also bring it to my work space pretty often. It doesn't compare to the BioMat Pro for full-body treatment, of course, but it is more versatile. You can even bring it on vacation! I also think it would also be great for kids. Like the BioMat Pro, it uses infrared light which penetrates 6 to 8 inches into the body, stimulating and warming deeper cells directly.  People who try it report many positive effects, such as pain relief, improved mood, better sleep, and increased circulation.  The mat works by heating amethyst crystals which causes them to emit far-infrared light. In a nutshell, this works because crystals have a very low specific heat, and a very high thermal emissivity.
