Description
3 Steps To Foot Health Step1 is Correction       Your feet are your foundation. Whatever your feet do, your ankles, knees, hip, back and neck do. So we are not talking about just a foot problem we are talking about a whole body alignment process. We carry over 300 sizes and 50 different orthotics. The pictures above are examples of our foam fitted Corrective Orthotics. Don't let the above pictures confuse you. We will determine from your foam impression kit and Questionaire we send you the right Corrective, Comfort and Maintenance orthotics for you. We have over 20 years in the Orthotics Industry and know our trade. Click Here For About Me. You don't want the ORTHOTIC to mold to the FOOT, that just copies the problem. You want the foot to mold to the orthotic correcting the problem. Orthotics are normally uncomfortable for a brief break in period. If they are totally comfortable initially, what are they correcting? After 21 days they should be totally comfortable. Step 2 is Comfort While you are breaking in the Corrective Orthotic, your Comfort Orthotic can be worn, fully comfortably right from the beginning. Once you break in your Corrective Orthotic and it's comfortable, it doesn't hurt to switch between orthotics. A change of orthotic once your feet are corrected is good, as it will exersise other areas of your feet. Step 3 is Maintenance   Your feet were never meant to walk on hard flat surfaces for 30 years. Your feet were built to walk on rough terrain, sand and grass. Whatever makes the foot flex and exercise is good. Maintenance is exercise. Once you break in your Corrector Orthotic, your Maintenance Orthotic is a therapeutic model that gently exercises the foot to relieve stress and pressure points. Like the Comfort model you can switch into it for a little lift, and a change of pace. We send you a foam impression kit and choose the Corrector, Comforter and Maintenance orthotics most appropriate to your feet. These three orthotics would cost you over $500 at a national chain store. Here they are $199. Here's How Our Orthotics Are Different:Our Orthotic is NOT molded to your foot (that would copy the problem!).  Instead your foot molds to our Orthotic essentially correcting the problem.  Think about that for a second... Your foot wants to flex and move and not be held in one position. Most custom orthotics you will find on the web or in a Doctor's office are hard acrylic, resin, graphite or similar construction. While this is good technology it is old technology.  Custom Molded Orthotic: This is the conventional Orthotic that Doctors usually sell to patients. We can make them but I'm not a big fan of the hard rigid Orthotic. In the first place if you have a bad foot and you do a cast mold of that foot,  you now have a perfect copy of a "lousy foot".    Your foot wants to flex!!! It doesn't want to be held up in one position all the time.  If you break your arm, a cast is put on it to immobilize it and keep it from moving while the bone heals. When you take the cast off, the arm is withered and atrophied compared to the other arm because the muscles, tendons and such have not exercised for three months.  Same is true for a hard orthotic, the foot gets no exercise because the orthotic is holding it up rather than allowing it to move.  There are exceptions to this, where surgery has been done and pins have been inserted, where you want the foot to stay still, but most people do not fall into this category.  You also don't want too soft of an orthotic or your orthotic will just mold to your foot defeating the purpose of correction. What your want is semi ridgid. Flexible enough to allow your foot to exercise, and strong enough to reshape your foot to the correct position. Thank you, thank you, for improving my quality of life tremendously! I have suffered from chronic back pain for over 30 years. Despite countless consultations with orthopoedists, chiropractors, physical therapists, massage therapists, rolfers... and trying yoga and a host of other alternative welness methods... nothing has ben nearly as dramatic in alleviating my pain as these orthotics from you! I have been wearing them for a month and the only day I have woken up with back pain was the day after I didn't put them in my shoes. I just took an extended trip and for the first time the schlepping of heavy bags and long hours in airplane seats didn't leave me feeling like a cripple when I finally got home. My posture is noticeably better. I love feeling the new alignment in my body. I am telling everyone I know to check out your website and give themselves the gift of orthotics. Thank you for making this affordable to me through your eBay auction. Many blessings, Marianne in Hawaii Respond to this question Responses in My Messages will not include your email address.
