These lamps have a life of 800 hours--others claim a lot higher life--but in all reality--who wants to use a lamp that is not performing well-- Ever been to a salon that has "bad lamps"?   "Bad lamps" = "bad tan".   Reality is that if 2 people use a 20 minute bed 3 days a week for 50 weeks a year, in 5 years you will have 500 hours of use.  If you are an avid tanner- you will most likely want the best results and this comes by keeping up on your lamps!  100 Watt F71 and F 73 How do I know which lamp I need?  This is a 3 Step process 1. Confirm the wattage. Almost every residential bed and most standard commercial beds will be 100-watt. Shorter F59 lamps (usually found in beds with a facial) may be 80-watt. Your lamps should have 100W or 80W somewhere on the lamp. Other wattages such as 120, or 160 do exist in some applications, however this auction is for standard 100-watt and 80-watt lamps only. 2. Determine the length. The most common length is F71. This is the length although the lamp will actually measure slightly shorter than 71 inches.  Other beds use a  F73 (usually found in some commercial beds), and F59 (usually found in beds with a facial, the shorter lamps below the facial). This should be part of the existing lamp’s model number. This auction is for the F71 and F73 length only. If you have any other size you will need to look at are other auctions or items in our EBAY STORE to match to your lamps size. 3. Check the connectors on the end of the lamps. They will be either bi-pin (two prongs similar to a standard fluorescent lamp) or RDC (flat black plastic piece, one of the sockets that hold the lamp will be spring loaded for removal). F59 and F71 are available in bi-pin only, and F72 and F73 are available in RDC only.  If your lamp measures 69 3/8" from end cap to end cap and you have 2 pins on the end of it--It is a F71,  If it is 70 1/8" long and has a plastic end cap - it is a F73.  We are glad to help and make sure you get the correct lamp for your unit.  Most of the time--your lamp size will be on your existing lamps--making this much easier for you.  If you have a facial unit- we also have facial lamps available at our low discount prices.  Just drop us a note when you buy your lamp kit and we will include a 400 watt facial for an additional $32 per facial.
